About the Role
We’re looking for a talented Web Developer with strong design skills to join our team at Axosocial. You’ll be responsible for creating visually stunning, high-performance websites that combine beautiful design with smooth, engaging user experiences.
If you’re passionate about pixel-perfect designs, sophisticated animations, and building websites that truly stand out, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Expert-level WordPress development with Elementor Pro
- Proficiency in Figma OR Sketch for UI/UX design
- Advanced GSAP like animation skills with demonstrable examples
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Experience building WordPress login systems and custom functionalities
- 3-5 years of experience in web development and UI/UX design
- Understanding of SEO best practices
- Must be located in India
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Figma OR Sketch for UI/UX design
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory
- Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Expert-level WordPress development with Elementor Pro
- Solid experience with Webflow (WordPress OR Webflow mastery required; both is a plus)
- Advanced GSAP like animation skills with demonstrable examples
- Experience building WordPress login systems and custom functionalities
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Basic knowledge of Shopify for occasional projects
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP (or ability to work with AI tools like Claude/ChatGPT to implement code solutions)
- Familiarity with WordPress security and performance optimisation
- Understanding of SEO best practices

Quality Benchmark: Our minimum standard is websites like formapilates.co.uk. We’ve also built sites like wellfinitystudios.com and more. If your work is at this level or higher, you’re who we’re looking for.
